The Town of Seiling, Oklahoma was platted out in 1898, and the Seiling Milling Company, built in 1917, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Seiling today is a busy little town with very friendly people who will always make you feel welcome. Annual events include several golf tournaments, the April Music Festival, an August Arts & Crafts Festival, the Annual Rodeo and Parade and many others!Seiling is a small town that has served as home to several famous folks, including temperance radical Carrie Nation, Indian Scout Amos Chapman, and modern-day famed meteorologist Gary England.
The Town of Seiling has four major highways running through it, and as a result, Seiling is known as the "Crossroads of Northwest Oklahoma."
In addition the countryside around Seiling abounds with deer, wild turkey, quail and dove. Nearby Canton Lake provides fishing, swimming and water skiing, while Little Sahara State Park, with its unique sand dunes, is just minutes away.
